Gift Guide For Him

I’ve never received more requests for a gift guide! I know this one took a while, but I wanted to make sure my gift guide for him included practical, useful gifts for all of the men in your life. I’m not going to lie, Bill is probably the most difficult person to shop for, ever. He is the epitome of quality over quantity and is extremely thoughtful when it comes to things that he purchases for himself. As a result, I’ve learned to do the same when it comes to shopping for his gifts…

Below you’ll find a mix of items at various price points that work for boyfriends, husbands, fathers, brothers, etc. For the most part I’ve bought the items below for Bill or they are something I know he would love. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to comment below, email me or DM me on Instagram!

Herschel Supply Co. Novel Duffle Bag — my mom actually bought this for Bill for his birthday and he’s used it so many times since then. This bag is the perfect weekend size and Bill loves the separate shoe compartment. If you have a bunch of travel planned in 2020 for weddings, etc. this would be a great gift!

Sonos One SL Speaker — I bought Bill a Sonos for Christmas two years ago and he absolutely loves it. I bought him this version with Alexa included, but if you don’t want/need an Alexa the One SL is the way to go. Both are currently on sale!

Golf Polo — a couple years ago I ordered Bill a golf polo from Erin Hills because it was one of his favorite courses that he’s ever played. Bill rarely buys things for himself, but I knew he loved the course so I thought it would be a nice, personal gift. Most major golf courses have shops you can order from online!

Away Carry-On — this is something that I haven’t gifted to Bill, but it’s something I know he would love. Every time we’re at the airport he mentions that he needs a new suitcase and I think this one is the perfect size.

Sabah Loafers — anyone who knows Bill and I will find it absolutely hilarious that I put Sabahs on this gift guide, but truly I think they are Bill’s favorite possession in the world. I remember when he bought his first pair three years out of a small apartment in the city, and since then he’s worn them nonstop. It’s funny because I’m not the biggest fan of them, but people (mainly guys) compliment him on them everywhere we go. Bill says they are the most comfortable shoes he owns!

Apple Airpods — I bought these for Bill for his birthday and he uses them every single day. I feel like this gift idea seems basic, but it’s definitely one that will be appreciated.

Tequila Tasting — This tasting doesn’t necessarily have to be tequila, but if you’re looking for an experience gift, this is a fun route to go. A while back I got Bill and I tickets to a whiskey tasting and it was actually such a fun time. If your boyfriend, husband, dad, brother, etc. has a favorite spirit this is a great gift option. If you live near NYC there are so many options! Be sure to search Groupon as you can usually find crazy deals!

Apple Watch — Again, might seem like a basic gift option but it will be used every day! Bill doesn’t take his off…

A nice tie — if your 2020 wedding schedule looks anything like ours, multiple ties will definitely be necessary! You can’t go wrong with a tie from Brooks Brothers. I love all of their patterns and colors.

Chapstick Original — there are a lot of chapsticks for guys out there, but Bill swears by the original Chapstick. He only uses this one and I always grab a few around the holidays to use as stocking stuffers.

Smartwool Premium CHUP Polar View Socks — another one of Bill’s favorite gifts are these Smartwool CHUP socks. I usually buy a pair for him if I need a small gift to compliment his main gift. They are very warm and come in a ton of different patterns and colors.

Patagonia Better Sweater Quarter Zip Jacket — my mom bought this for Bill last Christmas and he lives in it. Personally, I love these quarter zips for guys. They are so comfortable, warm and look great on. This is a great gift option for dads too!

Osprey Apogee Backpack — if there’s a guy in your life who is a commuter this backpack is perfect for them. Bill bought this when he started commuting to the city for work and it’s the perfect size. It even has a laptop compartment! Although it’s great for commuting, it’s also great for day trips/outdoor activities too.

Patagonia Micro Puff Hoody — this one is high up on Bill’s list this year. We went to the Patagonia store to try it on and it’s a really, really great jacket. It’s warm but not too bulky and overall has a great shape. It’s water resistant and windproof too! If you’re looking for a similar jacket that’s a little bit less expensive I love this Nano Puff Water Resistant Jacket.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream — I’ve always thought that Kiehl’s is a great skincare brand for men. It’s not fussy and it works. This one originally started out as my favorite moisturizer, but Bill quickly became fond of it too. It’s the perfect moisturizer because it’s light, absorbs quick and can be used day or night. I use this as a stocking stuffer or as a small gift if I need something extra!

Native Union XL Lightening Charging Cable — you can literally never have enough of these. One for home, the office, the car, commuting — you name it! I think this is a great stocking stuffer for any guy on your list.

Herschel Supply Co. Chapter Dopp Kit — this toiletry bag is the addition to the Herschel duffel back I shared above. If someone on your list doesn’t have a toiletry bag yet, this is the one to go with. Bill has this one and it’s a great size, fits all the essentials and looks great on the outside too!
