One trend that I’ve been seeing around a lot lately and I’m loving is hair scarves. Although I’ve seen them styled numerous ways, I’ve found that my favorite is probably the simplest one — with a low ponytail. I found this adorable vintage gold silk bandana at Madewell and it has quickly become my favorite accessory. It’s the perfect way to add something extra to any outfit.
Previously I’ve used bandanas to dress up some of my handbags (like this one seen on the blog here), but recently I’m all about using them in my hair. To get this look I simply pulled my hair into a low ponytail and then tied the hair scarf tightly around my elastic. I finished off this look with my favorite hoop earrings and a black turtleneck (sold out in black, similar here and here) from J.Crew, and I love how the dark sweater made the gold scarf pop.
