Happy (almost) Memorial Day weekend! If you’re anything like me you’re more than ready for all things warm weather, which is why I am rounding up some of my favorite rosé wines to help you celebrate the unofficial start of summer with the official (at least in my eyes) drink of the season.
1. Whispering Angel (Chateau d’Esclans)
Probably one of the most popular, Chateau d’Esclan’s Whispering Angel does not disappoint. Between the perfect pink color and the fresh and fruity wine itself, this just might be my all-time favorite.
2. Summer in a Bottle Rosé (Wölffer Estate)
The product of a sustainable vineyard in the Hamptons, Wölffer Estate’s Summer in a Bottle lives up to its name with pretty floral packaging and lots of seasonal flavor.
3. Summer Water (Yes Way Rosé/Winc)
A collaboration between Yes Way Rosé and Winc, Summer Water is light, crisp, refreshing and can even be delivered to you in bulk when you sign up for a Summer Water Societé subscription. Subscribers receive 3 magnum bottles (1.5 L) during the months of May, June and July.
This wine has yet to fail me! For $10-12 you can’t beat the price, and it’s delicious. It’s perfect for a day party or any sangria/frosé recipes you might be making!
A crisp wine with lots of strawberry, peach and apple flavor is always a crowd pleaser, and pairs well with everything from cheese plates to salads or pizza.
Last but not least, Veuve Clicquot’s Brut Rosé. I can’t think of the last time I celebrated anything without a bottle of Veuve, and this is one of their best.
What are some of your favorite rosés? I would love to hear from you!
