I’ve found the perfect summer top and I feel the need to share it with you guys. I know we technically have a couple of more weeks until the “official” start of the season, but since I picked up this lace-trimmed, blue and white beauty from J.Crew I’ve been wearing it on repeat and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
Why is this particular top the perfect summer top? Let me explain. It’s light, it’s airy, it’s the prettiest shade of blue, and, most importantly, it looks great with a pair of white jeans.
I see myself wearing this outfit on dinner dates with Bill, out with my friends, on the weekends, to work, you name it. For the record I also think this would be really cute to wear on the Fourth of July and I probably will.
Another thing great thing about this top — the lace trim. It makes this shirt feel very summery and feminine. I’m definitely packing it for our trip to Nantucket in July!
