Recently I’ve found myself gravitating more towards the heels in my closet instead of all my flat shoes. Throughout the winter and early spring I pretty much wore booties or flats every day, but since spring has finally decided to show up in Connecticut, heels have been my shoe of choice. I feel so much better about myself when I have a pair of heels on. For me, I just feel like all of my clothes look better when I’m a little bit taller. 😉
With this recent heel obsession, I have purchased a couple of pairs that I really, really love. Both are nude heels (a pump and a sandal), but in my opinion they are both super versatile, comfortable and perfect to wear throughout the rest of spring and even summer!
I love block heels. Personally I think they are waaay more comfortable than a regular heel and much easier to walk in. When I found Marc Fisher’s Zala Pump I was immediately sold. They are the perfect nude shade and I love the pointed toe. These heels can go from a day at work to a night out seamlessly, making them one of the most versatile (and most worn) pairs of shoes in my closet. Last weekend I wore them into New York City while visiting friends and even after hours of walking my feet still felt great! Below you’ll see that I’ve paired these heels with jeans and dresses and they work well with pretty much anything.
These (under $60!!!) nude slingback sandals from Nordstrom are going to be worn on repeat throughout these upcoming warmer months. In addition to being a great shade of nude, I love how these sandals are slightly strappy. I can already picture myself wearing these in the Hamptons for my best friend’s bachelorette party in June. These pair well with everything, and although I’m wearing them with jeans below, I really think these will look best with spring/summer dresses and skirts. Bonus, these sandals come in lots of different colors, and at this price, I might have to get myself another pair.
Do you have a favorite nude heel/brand? I’d love to hear about it!
