A couple of months ago a few friends were raving about Nécessaire. They were going on and on about the quality of the products, the scents, the non-toxic ingredients — everything. I was familiar with the brand, but I’d yet to try it out for myself. Ultimately my friends sold me on it, but before I had a chance to order it myself, Nécessaire reached out and asked me if I wanted to be a #NecessaireAmbassador.
Which brings me to today’s post. In short, I can confirm that these products are awesome. Nécessaire sent me The Body Essentials set which includes full size versions of The Body Wash, The Body Lotion and The Body Exfoliator. Now that I’ve been using these products for about a month, I wanted to share my full review of each. I’ve included all the details and links to shop each product below.
THE BODY WASH
I was happy to receive the Sandalwood set, but there are also Fragrance-Free, Eucalyptus and Bergamot options to choose from. Overall I love the Sandalwood scent, it’s very subtle. I’ll start off by saying that this body wash is LUXURIOUS. I love the consistency and it lathers up really well.
In addition to feeling and smelling great, I love that it contains Vitamin B³, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Omega-6 and Omega-9. At it’s core this body wash helps to cleanse, nourish and balance your skin. I also appreciate that Nécessaire shares product ingredients on their website. As a brand they are committed to creating clean, ethical and sustainable (where feasible) products.

THE BODY LOTION
This might be my favorite product of the three. The Body Lotion is fragrance-free and so hydrating. Similar to The Body Wash, this lotion includes multiple vitamins focused on skin health. Sometimes lotion takes so long to absorb, but this is light, absorbs fast and leaves my skin feeling very hydrated.

THE BODY EXFOLIATOR
Last but not least, The Body Exfoliator. I’ve been using this 1-2x per week as a wash replacement per Nécessaire’s suggestion. This is product uses two forms of exfoliation, chemical and physical, to soften and renew skin.
Of all three products, this one has probably had the biggest impact on my routine. I wasn’t using an exfoliator prior to this, but I really like how Nécessaire’s version is gentle yet effective.

Overall, I’ve really enjoyed creating this new routine with Nécessaire. I’ve always had a skincare routine, but I that didn’t include my body. Since I’ve started using these products my skin’s hydration levels, texture and tone have all improved. In addition to continuously gifting these products to myself (😂), The Body Essentials set would be a great gift for the holidays, a friend’s birthday, etc.
