A Faux Fur Scarf

…and a LOT of navy.

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you probably know that I’m a big fan of a good monochrome outfit. I’ve styled a few in my day (like this one and this one), and pretty regularly wear one color head-to-toe at the office, out to dinner, etc. While Black Friday shopping I came across this vvv pretty, navy faux fur scarf and knew I needed to create an outfit around it.

What I ended up pulling together is the monochrome outfit below. I’ve always said that texture is important when putting together a monochrome look, and the combination of the faux fur scarf and suede loafers definitely do the trick.

In all seriousness though, the scarf is the star of this show. It’s actually amazing. Not only is it warm, but it adds a touch of glam to any outfit.

One more great thing about this faux fur scarf… it kind of looks like a vest lol. I like it for that reason because it can be worn with a coat and/or you can just wear it over a top for a little faux fur/faux vest action.
